The ★Janissary III★ is an incredibly durable tank, bearing a strong resemblance to the ★Khopesh XXV★.

Tactics: Edit

Offense: These things have very high health but they are also about the slowest unit in the game. It is best to get them as highly leveled as you can and let them lead the assault since they can take a long time to kill when fully promoted. Their gun is also very deadly to recon units and tanks too. It definitely takes skill to get them in at the right moment since most of your units will race past them if you deploy them too close together. Always support with anti air units if your enemy has helicopters. Avoid head to head with UR tank or anti tank units. If you are a top player with Epic and UR units in your squad, you might also want to save a maxed out card of this unit because it makes an awesome counter against the annoying Orontes I and other extremely powerful units, but not tanks. However, unlike any other unit in the game, when promoted to level 35+ this unit's extremely long main with short range can get confused and fire right past the two mini buildings of your base and hit the main reactor of the base at the very back, which is what your units have to fire at last but not least to destroy the enemy base. This causes this unit to one-shot the enemy base, which can be extremely beneficial because this unit can get one shot off before reinforcements can arrive, most of the time.

Defense: They have no air defense so use helicopters. They are very slow so if the enemy isn't pressing you save up enough resources to deploy 3 or 4 of your heaviest hitters to gang up on one of these tanks. Strong rare or super rare infantry are good against them especially the Hastatus sniper that can get a few shots in before it closes. At close range this tank can kill your infantry so rocket squads are good since it will take 3 shots to kill them. Plan on using several units to bring these down. UR units are also considerably stronger so can make an effective counter. Don't let it near your base because if your units suddenly get destroyed by other enemy units, this unit will one-shot your base.
